To install ISPConfig on Ubuntu 20.04, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Update System Packages
sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade
Step 2: Install LAMP Stack
ISPConfig requires a LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) stack to be installed on your server. You can follow our guide on how to install LAMP stack on Ubuntu 20.04.
Step 3: Download ISPConfig
wget -O installer.tgz "https://github.com/servisys/ispconfig_setup/tarball/master"
tar xf installer.tgz
cd servisys-ispconfig_setup*
Step 4: Run the Installer
Before running the installer, make sure to review the setup.ini
file to change any desired settings. Then, execute the installation script:
sudo ./install.sh
Note: The installation process may take some time. Please be patient.
Step 5: Access ISPConfig
After the installation is complete, you can access the ISPConfig control panel by visiting https://your-server-ip:8080
in your web browser. Login with the username admin
and the password you set during the installation.
That's it! You've successfully installed ISPConfig on Ubuntu 20.04. You can now start managing your websites and other hosting-related services through the ISPConfig control panel.
