Installing ISPConfig on Ubuntu 20.04

ISPConfig is an open-source hosting control panel that allows you to manage multiple websites, email accounts, DNS records, databases, and more from a web-based interface. It has a simple and user-friendly interface, making it suitable for both beginners and advanced users.

To install ISPConfig on Ubuntu 20.04, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Update System Packages

sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade

Step 2: Install LAMP Stack

Step 3: Download ISPConfig

wget -O installer.tgz "https://github.com/servisys/ispconfig_setup/tarball/master"
tar xf installer.tgz
cd servisys-ispconfig_setup*

Step 4: Run the Installer

Before running the installer, make sure to review the setup.ini file to change any desired settings. Then, execute the installation script:

sudo ./install.sh

Note: The installation process may take some time. Please be patient.

Step 5: Access ISPConfig

After the installation is complete, you can access the ISPConfig control panel by visiting https://your-server-ip:8080 in your web browser. Login with the username admin and the password you set during the installation.
